Plantar Fasciitis Causes

Plantar fasciitis symptoms is a condition of the foot that causes severe pain in the heel. The pain is especially severe in the mornings as the first steps are taken. I suffered from such pain when i was pregnant. I was struggling with severe pain and consulted an orthopedician. He examined my foot and diagnosed it to be plantar fasciitis. He told me that the increased weight gain during pregnancy was causing a lot of excessive stress on the plantar fascia and was causing the pain.

I started researching by reading and browsing the internet to learn more about the pain and its cause and possible treatment. I realized that plantar fasciitis foot strapping is one of the best methods of reducing the severity of the pain. Though the plantar fasciitis foot strapping is usually done by the athletes in an effort to reduce the pain, it can also be used by any person who is suffering from plantar fasciitis.

The plantar fasciitis symptoms can also help to prevent a sudden stretching force on the foot and plantar fascia. This makes the strapping to be an important aspect of not only preventing injury, but also treating the injury.

The tape that is commonly used for the foot strapping is the athletic tape. The foot should be strapped with the tape, but the strapping should be done by a person who knows the method because strapping done incorrectly can lead to further damage to the skin and underlying tissues.
